I've tried the sport shoes look, but I don't really like the way it looks on me; the thick padding on the typical sports shoe makes my sz.13 feet look even bigger!
These shoes definitely make me rethink that though.

yep! that's who it was...i think he even posted a pic of a bunch of different colors he owns. The ones I recall best are the brown ones. Wasn't traditional at all, but he made the look work by accessorizing with similar colored sporran if I do remember correctly.

I pretty much wear whatever I've got lying around. Pretty much have to, since I have stinky feet. With a Utilikilt, it's usually the running shoes with some casual long socks (yes, pulled up - don't like the look of ankle socks with a kilt, nor the sockless look, just looks too weird). With a traditional, if I'm using running shoes, it's either off-white or oatmeal kilt hose with flashes that go with the kilt, as shown in my avatar. If I'm wearing boots, then it's anything but off-white. Same with casual or dress shoes.

Hey man, no complaining about shoe size. I'm strutting around in my size 16 here...I was wearing 13's when I was 13!!
