Nope, and I don't wear a kilt either.
I wear a breacan feile, which is supposed to have been around then. Due to a lack of drawings/archaelogical evidence no-one is sure about the dressing trends of Wallace's time. The breacan feile was the clothing of Ancient Celts (and latterly picts) in Alba, and outlawed after the failed uprising. The kilt has evolved now into what it is, and some would say (ie me) it has evolved even further by going plain (no tartans) and gaining pockets .
