now we can see the pic - but its a bit dark overall so its hard to make out the color on the sporran and belt.... maybe retaking the pic with a brighter flash - or brighter lighting in the room in general
sorry to be such a pain but YOU ASKED...

Looks OK on my monitor. You look good in a Kilt, man.
You say you dyed that leather? Looks great.

It looks good to me. You did a good job with the sporran.

The kilt fits nicely and looks well made. A cable knit sweater would look nice with that. Change the chain to a leather strap & Bobs yer uncle!

Tip:
When you dress...find a large mirror and check if all is in line.
It's 1 minute work...centre the kilt and when done it's easy to align the belt (buckle) and the sporran.

wow, I got lines running through me!
Hey thanks, I was wondering about the alignment of the belt. I NEVER wear belts with buckles, so this is new to me. I did not know if to line up the center of the buckle, or the buckeled end of the leather. I usually wear sweaters, but I wanted the belt to be shown as well.
Will do so from now on.

The belt is pretty well aligned to the centre of the kilt...the kilt itself (blue line) a bit too much to the right...and the sporran (green line) too much to the left...(seen from the wearer's point of view).
The red line is more or less the centre....blue and green should be there also.
Sorry for drawing lines all over you...they will wear off within a couple of days

It looks fine the way it is.
I can;t believe you have to align the different metal's.
Sometimes imperfection is perfection.
The only thing I would say is change the sprran chain to a leather strap (as someone has pointed out) and it'd look great.
All in all, I reckon he looks rather 'proud' in his kilt, straight lines or not.
Aonghais.
