I've got everything from 1700 Flintlocks (I actually live a stones throw from famous custom historical firearms maker Larry Williams, who's home is located on part of the 4000 acre area of land that belonged to my ancestor Colonel William Edwards who helped found this part of Western KY) to ultra modern firearms of the errr...shall we say assault variety. I also have a huge selection of antique blades and miltaria. In fact I used to co own a shop in Dallas that dealt in fine military antiques so I've been at it awhile and have the stock pile to show for it!
By the way, although I am of decidedly proud and honorable Southern stock in all regards, I'm not of the redneck persuasion should anyone form a stereotype in their imaginations.
Yes, your Ingram is almost on par with a fully Bespoke Holland and Holland or other super fine quality shotgun. Charled Ingram is one of the most coveted and collected makers of Hunting arms made in Britain. Hope you hung on to it, if you actually went ahead and gave it to your pal, let me ask "need any more best friends"?!
