Darrell,
Thanks...It's the Fitzsimmons tartan.

The not-so-swingin' photo shows the craftsmanship of the pleatwork.
Makes a man proud to strut.

Ron,
You are correct, sir...that certainly is Matt's handiwork on display. I don't normally strut but Wendi insisted I do so for the small audience gathering nearby the local boathouse (seems to be a bit of a lunch time hangout for the locals). The nice people of Belfast seemed to care not that there was a long-haired kilted outsider strutting his stuff along the waterfront on St. Pat's. The young ladies at our hotel sure didn't seem to mind, and neither did the folks in Searsport, Stockton Springs, Bucksport, Ellsworth or Bar Harbor...the loads of friendly smiles from passersby made me feel even more proud of the tartan and the kilt.
A general FYI:
I mentioned I'd have video before I left for vacation: I'll be putting up a 15-second clip of the kilt "in action" along the Town Pier (next to the Harbor Master in Bar Harbor) later today (need to reinstall my firewire card first). You can really see the pleats swinging away in the gusty winds; this really shows off the excellent craftsmanship Matt puts into his kilts. I'll post a link to the video here in this thread after I get it online.
