Scotland the Brave
Well, the Scotti Tribe did come from Ireland to "Scot"-land, and the Scots returned the favour with the West Highland mercenaries, the Galloglas, especially the McDonalds of Antrim. Not to mention the Irishman St. Columba, apostle to the Picts and St. Patrick (one theory says the saint was born in Scotland), The Kingdom of Dalriada -- I could go on and on -- but I won't!
So, I suppose it is appropriate to play STB on St. Patrick's Day, given all of the links between Scotland and Ireland -- and after all, most of those Irish pipers are wearing "Scottish" kilt anyway!
Cheers,
Todd
