Well I picked them up yesterday, Colin has a two year waiting list but I somehow managed to jump the queue, The only part he didnt make is the Chanter, its a War-Mac chanter thats very popular with pipe bands and I love the sound and feel of it, My first impressions? wow they are sooo heavy, and the drones are so loud and stay in tune !!, Colin gets the African Blackwood shipped from Kenya, and it arrives cut into blocks a bit like table legs, he then bores it out and leaves it to settle for 6 MONTHS!!! before he turns it, al the matal parts are stainless steel, and there is no hemp used anywhere at all, its all cork, (more airtight and low maintenence a smigin of vasaline every few months). the Universal blowpipe was invented by Colin and is used by the vast amjority of serious pipers, again low manitenence and a comfortable oval end, the bag is a Ross Gore-tex, I can say Im absoulutle amazed by how loud and crisp they sound, the drones are really air efficient.

no hemp all cork!
gleaming!!

cheshire cat!!
thanks for indulging me I know its not a pipe forum but you know what its like!!!
