the government has granted me the "honor" of bestowing upon me a menial monthly payment for hours upon hours of tedious labor. Oorah!
Hehe...another satisfied customer of the Green Machine, eh? Two nephews, both just released from the Corps.
As far as I know, none of the military tartans are official, by which I mean no one has written regs stating that.
Dave, there is one: the RCAF tartan.

Welcome aboard the good ship Xmarks! If you are considering the USMC tartan for a future purchase take a look at http://www.alexismalcolmkilts.bigste...generic14.html

I just ordered an 8 yard kilt in the USN tartan from them. The USMC tartan looks great and in a lighter weight wool might still work for you on the Island.

    Again, welcome

I am thinking of getting one of Alexis Malcolm's Hillwalker kilts in the Navy tartan, with a Submariner's Dolphins kilt pin.

If you could... e-mail me some photos of how your 8 yarder looks, please!

Welcome from Scotland. Through the power of the internet the world's a smaller place - I discovered that I have distant relatives on my mother's side who live in Hawaii and have been in contact with them by e-mail..
