    Hey Hamish,

That's the ONE! I see you have the matching kilt! It looks great!

The Sporran is ONLY MADE in 1 camo. Yes, it is a British Camo, as the sporran (and matching kilt) is made in the UK (Glasgow to be precise). The wholesaler only has 1 pattern of camo and that's all he really wants, so I would only have access to the 1 pattern. No other pattern or no other options (no button with your branch of service... although a good idea).

That being said, would you wear this sporran with a solid kilt or with a non-matching camo or (shield your eyes, Hamish) with a tartan? Again... how much would you pay for such a sporran?

Thanks to Colin for posting the pic.

What about apologies to the rest of us for having to read that....

    KIDDING

ANYWAY back to the topic at hand: camo sporrans...

to be honest I wouldnt go for it. All my non-tartan kilts have pockets in one form or another (all are styled similar to the UK Original - so far) and so to add a sporran woudl be redundant and ungainly.

A camo sporran on a camo kilt - if matching looks a bit too... 'too' (hard to put in words) IMHO. If its in a different camo pattern or a tartan the clash woudl be a bit too much for me...

Sorry to piddle in the collective porridge but wanted to throw in my 2 cents there...

    Nope

I really want a camo kilt, the wife doesn't think that is a good idea yet. But even so I don't think the camo sporran would do it for me. I am still hoping for a Freelander or BK.

    Hey Rocky,

Its just me....but I have six Camo Kilts, the UK original woodland, PK desert MARPAT, PK forest MARPAT, FK CADPAT, FK Desert Camo, and AK Tiger Stripe. The PK's and AK have matching cloth "sporrans' I wear those with the kilts if I have to.

Obviously it'd look silly to put a British camo with another camo (have switched the desert and forest MARPATs for contrast with fair results) but I also don't see the point in wearing a camo sporran with a solid kilt since all my solid kilts have pockets.

So, even if I already had one, I don't know what I'd wear it with unless it was a matching kilt in that British Camo (which I was looking for at the height of my camo kilt addiction but never found...)

I'm still consider sporrans a nuisance and prefer kilts with pockets, vests with pockets, jackets with pockets, even hoodies with pockets in lieu of them.

And I'm still down on "standard" size sporrans as being too small for my hands and stuff...

Don't think I'd get one. But that's just me...and I'm an old guy at 61 and way out of touch with youngster's fashion.

Besides...I'm saving up for another semi-trad
