Ohhh Yea!
Looking forward to It...I sent an e-mail to the Manasger of JHB just to introduce the event. No reply yet. I figured there might be a free round in it or something. No matter. will be great to meet the other kilted in the area.

I'm looking forward to it as well, however, real life has been making a mess of things around here lately and the possibility exists that I may have to be elsewhere. Don't count me out yet. And don't think for a second that I won't spend the day kilted either. I just might not be able to fit the drinking part in.

Boston Kilt Night
Well lads, I'll have to be with you in spirit, as it's a "school night" and the two hours down and two hours back up to Portland make a week night trip to Boston a bit problematic--especially after all that good beer!
Have one for me!

Okay, one for Longshadows, possibly one for Flairball. Got it! Anyone else I should have a drink for?
Reminds me of a joke:
A local named Fergal walks into the pub in Ireland, and orders three pints of Guinness, carries them to his table, and drinks them one at a time, then walks out the door.
This goes on for several weeks before the publican tells Fergal, "You know, I can pour one pint at a time, and you don't have to get them all at once."
"Oh, I know," he replied. "It's just that my two brothers moved to America, so by drinking the three at once it's as if we're drinking together."
The publican thought this was a fine idea, and life went on as usual for a few more months. Then one day Fergal came in and only ordered two pints, carried them to his table, and drank them one after another.
The publican waited a few minutes, then approached the table. "I'd like to offer my condolences."
"What do you mean?" Fergal asked.
"Oh, I just thought that since you were only drinking two pints one of your brothers had passed away."
Fergal laughed, "No, they're both fine. I just quit drinking."

I think I know that guy. Oh,...Wait,...I think I am that guy.
Anyway, though the balance is still a bit upset, it is leaning slightly towards me going to kilt night. I might be bringing a convert with me as well. A good friend has shown quite an interest in kilt night, and sounded like he was planning to order a SWK tonight, so he could attend properly dressed. I'm betting he'll show up in a Hunting MacLeod.

I'll be there. I let someone else know, and he may show up as well.
