I would suggest the science centre, its fantastic (for big kids at heart). Fort York is also great!
If driving I suggest if you have passports for your family, bring them. If you don't have any. Bring your birth certificates with you. Its not a problem getting into Canada, just a problem coming into the states. oh another thing if pulling up to the border, remove your sunglasses and turn the radio or music off!!! also address them as yes sir or mam. It makes it much easier. The Canadian Officals are much nicer and polite.
I frequently travel over the border from NY and only had problems once, because i came back at 5:00 in the morning and it was a very young guy who looked like he just started to shave. After keeping me for 8 minutes he let me come back. Mind you I was the only car on the bridge.
Nah Glen, you need to come to PEI, the Gaelic Island! The heck with T'ranna (I grew up in Montréal ). I have a private 10 mile long, red sand beach just waiting. Lobster, mussels, oysters, bar clams, razor clams etc. etc...
