OK, I gotta ask. How do you do it? I mean, even as a business owner myself, I can take maybe 2-3 weeks off without things falling apart. Have you sworn a vow of poverty? I would love to do a half-year hike.

Andrew,
Good luck and Godspeed!
I really enjoyed reading your last hike. It motivated me to get out
and do some hiking here in the Blueridge.
Have a wonderful journey.

Actually, I will be in Northern California in June myself!(That place I used to call home) and in Tahoe around the time you may be in the "Wilderness".
Maybe there is a meeting in there somewhere!
I'l be keeping an eye on the site anyway, and have a great "walk"!

The hike itself will cost USD$3-4,000, to cover food and hotel expenses. I don't own a house or a car, so my off-trail expenses will be nil. I spent two years before I hiked the AT two years ago getting myself entirely out of debt. I just spent two years saving up enough to hike the PCT this year, and the CDT next year. I live to hike. I have to keep myself from buying too many kilts in the off-season so I can afford to hike!
Andrew.
