Sounds like a great day Dee,

You had me slobbering on the keyboard. One of the few things I miss about the East coast is the seafood in Alexandria....okay, and Baltimore and Boston...

Bet it felt cool to stroll the streets of Old Alexandria kilted....

Ron, the seafood is still good in both Alexandria and Baltimore. (Haven't been to Boston in several years.)

It was indeed cool to walk in a kilt that day. It was in the forties, spitting rain and a gale was blowing off the river. Still wouldn't have missed it. As one guy said said in a brogue "perfect Scottish weather!".

Boston seafood is great, but I'll have to say that feasting on seafood caught that morning on Cape Cod is the best you can get...

there is/was a place on the cape where you could actually pick the lobster you wanted right out of the lobster pot it was caught in, before it is even taken into the restaraunt!
