Andy,

Congratulations! What a perfect example of 'casual colour co-ordination'.

Normally I shudder at the thought of coloured shoes/boots on men (other than black or brown, and they're not really colours, are they?!!!!), but here they work perfectly aided, no doubt, by the spot-on matching T-shirt. Both the boots and the T-shirt are in the same grade of 'Casual' - a regular long-sleeved shirt, even in the same shade of blue, would not work half as well with those boots! Also us chaps have to be very careful with baby blue and pink unless we are well tanned, but you carry it off so well.

Just enough 'black' too: the hose, sporran and belt set of the beautifully simplistic Northumberland tartan. A question though: do you not wear a pin on this kilt? And a small criticism: I think a simple pronged-buckle day belt would look just that much more appropriate than the Dress belt - but that is a minor point really.

Overall, a great blending of simple colour. That one photo has had me add Northumberland tartan to my 'must have' list - my late partner hailed from Whickham, near Gateshead, so I'd be proud to wear it.

Thank you, Andy.
