The reaction was, to say the least, spectacular. Any time you can silence a hall full of 8th grade students is a special time. I had plenty of conversations about being Irish, why kilts were cool etc. I then wore again for Tartan Day, and again the Friday because it was my buddy’s birthday. I was starting to reach, but the comments I get and got are worth it. I now am waiting on a FK and got a UK from Ebay. (Survival, Basil AWESOME). I believe said kilt will be my travel companion up to Montreal; it is a pre-wedding celebration for a Firefighter Friend. It should be interesting.
Just Happy to find such a merry "Band of Brothers, for he who wears a kilt with me today is truly my brother." With apologies to Willie S.
I've got a basil survival UK myself...it's a good kilt..
welcome!

A second welcome from California!
If (as the saying goes) "A man in a kilt is a man and a half"
Is a man in kilt in the Bronx at least two men and a half?
I salute your valor Sir!

Welcome,
Like Kilted KT I also have a UK Basil Survival. Think you're gonna love it. I find my self chosing it a lot.
Survivals are great to fly in. Just unsnap the cargo pockets to go through security. Pics of the basil in my gallery if you want to jones more.
And, would you believe, I've actually been to The Bronx...back about 1970...used to work in NYC.
