Thanks guys for your comments. Hopefully we shall have a good day. Some friends of ours went last year and they also reckon you come back plastered with seagull droppings. James post got me considering a bit but I'm going wear my old jeans. My wife thinks if I wore my Blue Mackay cilt. it will come back a dress tartan :rolleyes: .

best way to deal with large gull colonies is a .410 with bird shot. They don't like that much.

Oh, and very important word of advice:

don't walk near the gulls with food in your hand. I've seen gulls dive-bomb people trying to get their food. Not a fun experience at all.
