    Just out of curiosity...

I was just checking out the RKilts website, and while looking at one of their wicked leather kilts, another one of my "brilliant" ideas hit me.

To boil it down, I thought back to my HS days when I owned this awesome suede jacket that I simply loved. Then I thought about how awesome it would be to have a suede kilt.

And, so, with the thoughts of becoming an upstart kilt maker... how well received would a suede kilt be by the general XMarks populace? Personally, I'd love one.

Sounds interesting. I remember seeing a faux suede on a kiltmakers site, but I can't remember who it was.

I'd have to say it wouldn't likely go over well here (Arizona).

Suede around here would be stained rather quickly in sweat, or by the "mud rain" we get a few times per year.

Wool can be cleaned more easily than suede.

A suede kilt would probably look great, but if you got caught out in the rain, it could really get messed up. I never been able to understand that about suede. Are not cows pretty much out there? What do they do when it rains . . . run to the farm house and pound on the door, yelling let us in, our skin is suede and it raining outside!!!

Sorry, but I don't think you could persuade me to wear suede.

That's not the half of it. It's a real pain to get them back outside. All they want to do is lay on the couch, watching TV, and drinking your beer.

I wondered why I felt so tipsy after eating that bowl of cereal with milk on today.
