Any thoughts on wearing the 80's vintage striped tube socks with the kilt? I've always loved the high tube socks with the stripes, and when I wanted to wear tennis shoes I thought I might give them a try. A few of my female friends really enjoyed them, but I was wondering what my kilted peers thought?

Plus if it's a good move, anyone know where you can get good tube socks?
