Urinal, unless they are all full. And I don't even bother to move the sporran aside, just grab the bottom of the apron, both inner and outer, and lift up, catching the sporran with the palms and lifting it as well. If you are not regimental, you can use a finger or two to move aside your undergarment of choice as you lift. Then when done, let go, with a slight outward motion from the fingers to keep the apron from getting hung up.

Code Warrior, that's my technique at home, I'll probably keep that when going out. It just seems the quickest way to get down to business.

I perosnally use whatever is more convenient at the moment. Now , since co one else has mentioned it, urinials take a little practice because there can be a splash back factor not usually noticed in trowsers.
