Great story, pdcorlis. I wore trousers to the municipal office where I worked until I had a leg injury and rather than go off sick I first went to the office kilted in January, 2003. Management, staff and public were so supportive that I continued to wear the kilt one or two days per week after the injury healed until I was granted my retiral in July 2004. After I retired they took me back on as a part time consultant in the court service and I wear the kilt to work more often than not.
