Ron, great story! But in my experience (almost as long kilted as you), most people never make it beyond the kilt, no matter how long they have seen you wearing it. Once their eyes make it down to the kilt, anything below is automatically invisible, and pretty much the shirt being worn is as well. I have actually had a desire to wear some really horrendous hose and shoes to work, just to see if anybody really notices. I am thinking pink hose with green Peter Pan shoes, weathered Lamont kilt, brown sporran, black belt, and burgundy golf shirt. Any bets on if anybody would say anything?
