    KCW,

You should wear your new SWK Weathered Lamont, you just got it and have been dying for an opportunity to show it off.

Now that your mind is free of worries, YOU CAN GO TO BED!

    Cheers

I've never been to those games but at other games I would stick to traditional tartans instead of the contemporaries. The weathered Lamont and Irish National both seem appropriate. Just my 2 cents.

Frankly, since you have so many options, I would nt wear one of your contemporary styles. Those are fine for daily wear, but since you are going to a Highland Games & Scottish festival, wear something Highland and Scottish! This is an occasion for tradition!

I have to agree with Matt here. Wear something that's Scottish in style for the actual festival. If you like, you can wear one of your contemporary kilts for the trip.

I agree you should wear a tartan to the games. It's not that you won't see a few contwmporaries there, but they do stand out. And yes I've sold many UK's at festivals, but I always wear a tartan when I'm there as a festival visitor (anybody really wants me to, I'll explaine why).
