G'day Hachiman. Nice to have a fellow Aussie here and practically my neighbor! There's a few of us about here as you may have seen.
That's fantastic news that you'll be wearing the Wallace at your wedding. Are you having it made or do you have a family one in the wardrobe already? If you need extras or need to get a kilt made up talk to All Things Tartan in Booval (Ipswich, you may already know that being a Brizzy lad). They made my kilt and are a top lot down there.

The folks at "all things tartan" are supplying me with my Wallace kilt - however I'm just renting it for the wedding.

I've been tempted by some of the 'discounted' BlackWatch kilts on X-bay, but with the wedding rapidly approaching, money's a tad on the tight side! I'm hoping that my first kilted experience will be positive (for me and my bride) and that kilts will steadily fill my wardrobe.

Has anyone had any experiences buying from xbay that they'd like to relate (good or bad)?

First of all, welcome to the group and congrats on your upcoming wedding!

Secondly, one of the best deals around for inexpensive kilts are the Stillwater Standard models. You can buy them from their online shop, or from their Ebay sales. I have two kilts from them and I wear them all the time.

I second the suggestion about the Stillwater kilts. I only have experience with the heavyweight and believe it to be a good value.
