Hey Pour1,
No leg tats. Spent that money on kilts!
Have pondered leg tattoos for some time, just haven't been able to find, or think of one, that I liked and that went both with and without kilt hose.
Closest I've found is a sketch of a bayoneted rifle stuck in the ground with a helmet on the butt in memory of the insanity of a certain war. As much as I like that art, I just don't think I could bear to have it as a tattoo.

Still looking though. Also deal with the conflict between getting tattooed and donating blood. Have donated 69 pints so far and would like to equal my grandmother's 80 pints. Have to wait a year after a new tat to donate again. Silly with todays technology, but still a fact.

I've got a pin up type girl tattooed on my right leg. I've also got a bunch of stuff on my arms, chest and I'm working on a full back piece too. Sorry, no pics.

I've given some thought to a modified version of my clan crest on my left calf:
And the Virgin Orans on the right:

Though I have not had either done yet. Unfortunately there are other more pressing items to spend my hard earned on at the present, but one can dream!

Mystic Wolf:
Before you invest in a tattoo, I should probably point out that the first picture you posted is not a "clan crest", but a coat-of-arms that belonged to someone with the surname of Skinner. In Scottish heraldic tradition (as well as in other parts of the British Isles), coats-of-arms belong to individuals, not to everyone with the same surname.
A "clan crest" (more correctly a "chief's crest") is the crest of the Chief of the Clan, inside a buckle and strap, and usually displayed with a motto or slogan. The crest is the very top part of a coat-of-arms, usually above the helm and wreath.
Sorry to be "nitpicky", and I hope I cause no offence, but heraldry is one of my areas of interest, and believe it or not, this was the number one question about heraldry I used to get when I worked as a genealogical librarian; "Where can I get a photo of my "family crest" for a tattoo?"
Cheers,
Todd

I'm not a big tattoo person, but some of those are pretty sweet! I like Mysticwolf's idea of the clan crest...
