MacSimoin, that's a hot looking sporran all right. I like the cantle particularly. I had a sporran (a cheapie tho) with similar chain loops at the back and found that the clips on the chain started to rub on the back of the sporran and mark it after just a short while. I'd hate for you to find that out too late! Maybe there's some good alternative suggestions out there? :rolleyes:

Replace the "spring snaps" with small snap hooks



They've got rounded bits instead of sharp poking bits, and should wear less on the leather.

I already have that remedied...I use sporran belts instead of chains on all my sporrans. Thanks for the advice.
