Oh, and I decided that my pictures were pretty boring, especially when compared to Hamish and Ron's. Ham always shows such enthusiasm and nice outdoor shots, and Ron is always shooting in such picturesque locations as well. I can't match the scenery, but here is my attempt to inject some enthusiasm a la Ham!
is that a kilted John Travolta? Did they even make bell-bottom kilts?

aren't all kilts "bell bottom" kilts?

To be a true John Travolta kilt, it would have to be made of white polyester.

You know, I was laughing until that comment! White polyester, uggh!
And Ham, if you have trouble finding them over there (can't imagine why), let us know, and we'll arrange a hose airlift direct to you!

That shirt goes really well with the kilt, KCW.

I don't have a white polyester kilt but I DO have a white poly-wool one, made for me by TFCK. If this photo does not work, go to page 5 of my Photo Album, image at bottom right.......

Many thanks KCW. I've been in touch with Gaelic Themes who confirm availabilty in the UK and suggest Scottishkilts.net. from whom I have bought their hose previously. They're not showing brown hose on their website so I've written to them about it. No reply received yet.

But Ham, everybody know that you can wear any kilt with great aplomb! Even, I daresay, a tye-died one!
Glad you found a source for the brown hose. I find that they are easily as good a match for many kilts as oatmeal ones, although I say that from observation not personal experience.
Hey, I just realized I did not pick up and oatmeal hose at the recent Games, and besides a brown belt, that was on my must-buy list!
MysticWolf, thanks, which Games will you attend? And Welcome to the forum!

KCW,
It is the second annual Stark County Irish-Scottish Festival here in my home town of Canton, OH. I'm really looking forward to it. Our parish will be conducting a "Kierkan 'O The Tartans service, and there should be several of us "kilted" though we'll be wearing our "black dresses" during the service!

Hamish,
Is there no limit to your sartorial elegance? Your attention to detail is legendary, but I was still surprised that you colour coordinated with your chair -- even down to the green piping to match your shirt.
I am in awe, Sir!
