Ron,
There is a woman in Moscow, ID who does the tyedying for Utilikilts. Her website is:http://www.tyedye-everything.com/
I am going to school right over the border (hence my lack of posting recently) in Pullman, WA, and her studio/shop is great. I'm thinking about having her dye my natural workman's, but I'm not sure about color scheme at this point.
Anyhow, it may be too late, but she will dye the kilt for about $20. Just thought that you might like to know.

Ron, I would love to see what you had in mind for a TD Kilt... in a positive way.

Thanks for thinking of me Geoduck,
I liked the natural white look so well I've left it for now. Grubby as it is in my part of the world, and the way I am, figure it won't be too long until I stain it somehow. Then will think about tie dye.
There's an old hippie just down the road from me over in Utah that's chomping at the bit to tie dye it too. He's a hiking friend and I'd have a lot more "color control" with him. So, when the time comes, will probably do it local....course the risk is he's not done UKs before.
The white workman's works well as a kilt to wear to work on any day. I think the tie dye would make it a casual Fridays kilt.

Here's one from several years ago as seen in the Utilikilts' photo gallery, Robertson.

I am saying nothing!
