USS Highland Games, Pomona California

For all those in the SoCal region, dont forget this weekend is the USS Highland Games, one of the largest in the country. I'll be competing in the "C" class heavy events Saturday (I'll be wearing a nightstalker SWK) and this games will feature some real world class pro athletes as well. I wish I could return on Sunday, but I can only be there one day. Ryan Vierra will be there, as well as others.

I will probably be spending most of my time at the Clan Strachan/Clan Inebriated tent. Dennis is short handed so I will be helping out. Anyone in the area stop by and say hello.

I am the 6' 5" small guy :rolleyes: at the tent.

Deolain, thats my clan too! I just got my 'member in good standing' cert in the mail the other day. I will try to make it over to the booth if I get any time away from the field. We will be all the way over to hell and gone though, so unless they give us a long lunch break I probably wont see any of the clan booths.

I'm hoping to make it Sunday. but I'm having two teeth removed tomorrow - one is a Wisdom tooth that has caused some serious damage - and my wife, who's had her W.T. removed, says I won't be wanting to go anywhere ...we'll see.

The Marines kept wanting to pull mine too Iolaus. I never let them since they werent giving me any trouble, and everyone who DID get them pulled was down for at least two days, if not more.

Good luck, eat a heartly last meal (because you wont be eating anything but applesauce and jello for a few days) and maybe I'll see you at the next games.

Hey, July 12th the Fenians are also going to be playing a free concert at the Boisseranc Park in Buena Park. I'll post more details as the event gets closer, but I'll be there.
