    Yep. My Dad has my Grandpa's WWII Hodden Grey kilt, and it is that colour.

    Grandpa was 6' 5" with a 32" waist, so there is no way I'll ever fit in it!

    I think the kilt looks really neat without having the first so many inches of pleats sewn down. I don't think I've seen that before on a kilt with so many pleats!

    I think the kilt looks really neat without having the first so many inches of pleats sewn down. I don't think I've seen that before on a kilt with so many pleats!
    Not sure where you get that idea, the pleats ARE sewn down. Approximately 8 stitches per inch, by hand.
