Aye, brought me to tears back in October 1989 at a Black Watch concert in Sun City, Arizona. Dozens of men stood for their service's song. Was the first time I thought to stand with the Marines when our song was played.
Choking me up now to type about it. Such a bond. Such well earned pride. Such honor.
It all seemed heightened because the Black Watch was playing to honor the men and women who had served and requested we stand for our tune.
