Also, I got another column up today. If you want to see it it's at roadsideonline.com
Thanks! That pic was taken in Aug. 2002 at the Bonneville Salt Flats during Speed Week. Had a great time down there with it.
I just read your new diner column about the Brunswick. Very well done! You have a great writing style.
If you ever come up to to Calgary you'll have to stop at the Harley Diner. It's not an original old diner like the ones you are used to, but it was created from the old Harley dealership building to look like a large diner. My wife and I dined there on Monday and it's great!

It seems that kilts and dealing with e-mail enquiries about kilts, have pretty much taken over my life in recent years. I enjoyed giving a few talks on my Kilt Kollection to various groups (but I need to have some means of displaying the kilts and/or putting on an audio-visual presentation to do that properly!) I enjoy photography and listening to music (Classical and Broadway/WestEnd shows). I visit the theatre as often as my Bank Manager will permit, and most of my life I have been a keen AmDram performer but, alas, no more. I am not into sports of any kind, but I did enjoy cycling (road and off-road) for several years - that stopped when I realised that all roads/tracks went up-hill!!! I like to potter in my garden, when I am in the right mood - used to be very keen, but the soil here is rubbish! I had piano lessons many years ago and private bagpipe tuiton a few years ago, but I cannot play anything on either instrument....... I am musical but I cannot make music! Recent health issues (and age!) have put paid to a number of activities I have enjoyed for many years - Scottish Country and Highland Dancing, and walking (leisurely) being the main ones. I do some voluntary work as a Steward for The National Trust at Petworth House, here in West Sussex, which I enjoy. Oh, and I pose for photographs!

Reading, writing, cars, motorcycles. I do vinyl graphics as a hobby, as well as mosaics, model cars and other stuff. I'm a fledgling Star Wars costumer. I've had the same Miata for 10 years and it's become somewhat of a passion, though I'm not nearly as passionate as I used to be about it.
I really have too many hobbies and interests to list them all.

Tai Chi instructor, volunteer work in senior health recovery, camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, bicycling (recumbent trike), home remodeling, restoring a vintage vw, getting my fingers stuck in guitar strings, writing a book, genealogy, and restoring a vintage vespa. Although work tends to get in the way on occasion I don't consider that a negative since I like what I do and frequently spend more time there than is required. My choice so I can't complain.
Cheers! Bill

Hmm, where does most of my "free" time go? Well, I'm an MSF instructor and ride a Honda Blackbird, sothat accounts for more than a few weekends each month: I can't seem to stay out of the back country with a 3wt flyrod and a handful of LaFontaine E.S.P's in size 16-I'll take Angus our Border Collie if Tracy isn't competing with him that weekend at freestyle frisbee. I enjoy history, the Games, my sound system for music *and* movies, and untill I trashed my knees I spent a good bit of time studying Tomiki Aikido.
Bryan...I suspect the list is longer if I think about it...
