A first....an interaction with a gaggle of teenage girls

I figure talk is cheap, and TALK...anybody can do. To move from talk to 'action" as in running down the street to lift a guys kilt, is a big step. The girls can talk smack to me all they want, and I'll give as good as I get. But I won't yank their pants down to see if they're wearing underwear or not,. and I expect them to do the same...

And what's more, to deliberately tug your pants down to show a total stranger your underwear, which blatanly advises (probably just for shock effect) thaty ou're available for party time, any time, like right NOW...well.

This is on the OTHER side of my sense of reasonable behavior.

Taught more than one teenage girl that would fit in with that group. I find that you have to be dead serious with them and don't give them an inch. I agree that obviously they didn't get the training at home, and they just want the attention. You know the old saying, "Give them an inch, and up goes yer kilt." Well I don't know how old that is, but. . .

I'm amazed at what I see these days. Yesterday at church I saw as much T&A as I would at any mall and we're a fairly conservative bunch. As my grandmother used to say, "They had them skirts up to their stride!" Cleavage, see-thru, you name it. I just can't imagine what mom and dad must be thinking to allow them out of the house like that. Yet, no one seems to pay much attention, but let me wear my kilt to church and the gawking begins. Go figure.

My daughter and her friends know they are not allowed in my home or car or to be seen in public with me while showing underwear. I have no problem letting my daughter change before leaving her room to go out. I know some girls that would wear two sets of clothes and take off the outer set once around the corner.

Alan, someone else on some other thread posted a similar response to yours but leaves less room for interpretation: "A lady doesn't ask, and a wench already knows." If the young lass is not offended by that, she's probably wondering, "Huh? What's a wench?" One hopes either way she will be too stunned to do anything else.

However it was handled, contrarily, her insolence during this scene leaves one apoplectic.
