    For a useful "sgean don't" maybe you could rig up a handle on a pencil, with a sheath that has a pencil sharpener on the end.

    A pencil sharpener actually is a highly specialized blade in a stealth configuration.

    Too difficult! Just make a handle, drill out a tapered hole to put the pencil in point first. The handle protects the tip (and keeps it away from the kilt hose).
    You'd have to use a memo pencil, or shorten a regular one to about half sI ize.

    You certainly have a fine looking young man there. He radiates pride and confidence. I think that was a great experience for him to wear his kilt on the last day of school, and he handled the "skirt" comments very well.
