Another pic the same day in Escondido at a park where an artist made many fanciful creatures out of mosaic glass, tiles and mirror. Don't go there on a sunndy day, it will blind you.

Ah-ha, Mowgli, another bass player! I can't see the headstock quite well enough to pick out the brand, but I see the P/J pickups- always a versatile combination, and my two basses are both set up that way. What's your musical style?

Unfortunately, I'm the only kilted one in the pic and sorry, no bong. My bong days have long passed. We did have a grand time in town. As with most vacations, our only regret was not enough vacation time.

My bass playing days are long passed as well. I used to play a Fender Precision in my high school jazz ensemble in the early 70's. Now I just twiddle a few times a year. Now I'm more comfortable with an acoustic guitar or my digeridoo.

Nice pictures indeed!!!.
They really show off that Nova Scotia tartan well. The colours are really defined and look great. I like that tartan the more I see it.
