Hi Bill

Sorry to hear about Badger. I know how you feel, I had a cat (a chocolate brown Burmese) some years ago that kept developing kidney stones they finally did surgery and enlarged his uretha so he could pass them easily. He was a big baby and loved everyone in his family but woe to outsiders. He got out one time and when we found him in a neighbors yard he'd treed all three of their cats on their turf. On the other hand once when we brought home a very wee hairball of a kitten she jumped off the couch and landed on Tom Cat's back and I thought we would have a dead kitten. He rolled with her and started grooming her and she started nursing on one of his paw pads never stopped and they remained close until the day he died. I miss him now, he was all my cat for 15 years. His name was Mestopholes (sp) after the character in Faust but he was just Tom Cat or CAT! if he screwed up.

He would have enjoyed getting hair all over my kilts .
I wish all the best for Badger and you, may your years together be many.

Bill (yeah the other one in ND)
