    Rob - faultless!

Tell me though: how do you manage to wear your X Marks kilt pin flat to the fabric? Mine droops forward alarmingly, well away from the fabric, and looks like it's about to fall off! In fact, I have stopped wearing it because I don't really have faith in the pin at the back either! It was from the very first batch.

Ham mine are from the first batch as well and I use an eraser from the end of a pencil to hold the pin in place and it keeps the pin flat as well.

    Ham, always appreciate your approval!

That is actually one of the current run of pins. It uses 2 pins on the back, sticking straight out from the back of the body of the pin, think of a tie tack pin. They seem to do better at keeping the pin flat. However, I also have one of the first ones with the safety pin type fastener. For that one, I find that putting the pin on with the pin perpendicular to the ground helps. I put it on with the larger portion of the pin toward the apron edge, but the other way would probably work as well. I think that I also wear my pins a little closer to the edge of the apron than others.
