Navy blue flashes...I'll ask my sister to make some tartan flashes for me...plenty spare fabric.

Kathy Lare made a vest for me out of the X Marks tartan. Figure I can wear it with solid color kilts when the weather cools in December.

That is a really nice-looking kilt, Robin, and you know how to wear it well. I suspect you will find it difficult to find the right tones of navy blue to wear with it. I did. It is quite amazing just how many different navy blues there are! Good old 'oatmeal' it really is the saviour of all things coloured!! Well done.

And well done to Barb too - a superb example of fine kiltmaking.
