I go from a suit for the work-day to a kilt at home (or a sarong - or less - if it is hot and I am not going anywhere). I can't say that I've noticed any strange sensation when I get dressed in the morning - probably because I switch back and forth so often.

A lot of people complain when they have to wear a suit, but I have been careful to make sure that my suits and dress shirts fit properly (I currently have six suits in rotation, and just noticed that the newest haberdashery in town is having a nice sale). I actually enjoy choosing my clothes and getting dressed for work - much as those who've said that they are more attentive to their appearance when they put together a kilt ensemble. My suits are wool, they flex and breathe as they should, and provided that I haven't gained or lost too many pounds, I'm always comfortable in them.

(Denim jeans are another matter altogether - and I recently posted a lament about that.)

I rarely wear boxers; for some reason, whenever I do, my parts always seem to get twisted up in all the seams. For that reason I typically wear tighty-whities, boxer briefs, bikini/sport briefs, or, when the cut of the trousers calls for it, le thong. For me, it's best to have it all arranged in a nice package that stays put when I want it to.

That said, when the day is done, the boys like to hang out. There's a sense of relief when the skivvies come off, but nothing odd when they go on.
