Well, you might look like a Klingon, but if so it is going to be because of other physical features and NOT the kilt! I have not seen any kilted Klingons in the media!

And come on, at 6' plus, you have some natural born presence on your side (even if you don't feel like it!). Strap that puppy on and feel the freedom. Trust me, nobody will give you any hassles, unless you frequent some really low-brow bars toward the end of happy hour. You will feel like every is looking and laughing at you. You really become sensitive to the looks and conversation of others when you first wear the kilt. However, while the looks might be for the kilt, most of the laughs and other things you overhear are not about you in your kilt. If you need validation, go out in a pair of shorts and really listen to those around you. For the most part, it will be the same in a kilt.
