'Get Shirty' kilts? Absolutely no way! Several years ago, I sent for one. When it arrived it was several sizes too small. I sent it back having telephoned them. They sent me another - it was too large. Another 'phone call and back that one went. A third one was received which, again, was several sizes too small. Again I telephoned and demanded to speak with the Manager. Eventually she came on the line and, in voice and manner, sounded to be about 12 years old! I said I was returning the 'kilt' and demanded a full refund, together will all the return postage and telephone costs. She told me that she was authorised only to refund the price of the kilt, and asked me to give them one more chance. She said she would personally despatch the kilt I had ordered. I reluctantly agreed but when it arrived, the labelled size was correct, but the kilt itself was obviously intended for someone half my size, one of the straps (a sort of processed cardboard) was hanging by a thread and the 'tartan fabric' was not even woven straight. It was ghastly.

The fabric itself was of the very poorest quality, but for £28 I hardly expected anything else - I thought it might have done to wear whilst car washing, etc. - but, to be honest, I would not have used that 'kilt' even as a car-washing cloth. I finally cut my losses by returning that garment and requesting the refund. It arrived several weeks later and, as I was told, consisted of nothing more than the original price of the kilt.

I would certainly NEVER buy another kilt from them and, because of that sorry experience, I would NEVER darken their doorstep ever again!
