So, I got out my credit card today, got on the web, and ordered a REAL kilt belt so I can be properly attired.

While I was on the web with my credit card somehow I ended up ordering three more kilts. I don't know how that happened, it was all sort of a blur. I'm innocent, really I am.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. I doubt that anyone will believe it though....

Seriously though: this is only the begining for you. It'll get worse, much worse. Sorry, that should have read, "It'll get better, much better".

Lowes and Home Depot are a good source for belts to fit a Utilikilt.

    Ham -

I don't think you need to worry, I doubt I will ever catch up - you will always be the man we all look up to.

I ordered two more UK originals just because I'm enjoying this one so much and if it got dirty and I couldn't wear it, WHAT WOULD I DO? I figured I needed two "backup" UK originals just in case. I ordered one in olive green and one in black. That actually covers all their colors unless I want to go into Corduroy or denim which I won't do until it gets cooler here.

I also ordered a standard Stillwater Nightstalker to check out their fabric, design, etc.

Multiple kilt ordering...must be an Arizona affliction.

Best wide kilt belts (2 1/4") are from Mike Butler at AmeriKilts...quality work for a fair price.

Originally when I was going to do this my goal was to walk through a different shopping mall in the Phoenix metro area every weekend to be seen by as many people as possible and I was going to do that until kilts became more commonplace in this city - and in so doing this I would lose some weight and get healthier.

Well, I spent SO MUCH TIME THIS WEEKEND walking out in public in my kilt that now I have blisters on the bottoms of my toes.

So....my plan will have to wait for a while it seems.

And so starts the addiction. To quote Uncle Otto at Utilikilts, "Sometimes I feel like a drug dealer!"
