I personally have an affinity for brunett's but I can appreciate a "Classic Celtic Red Head". The combination of Red hair, Green or blue eyes and creamy complection with just a kiss of wind burn is wonderful.
And by the way...be very careful while doing a google search for "Irish Red Heads"

I don't know, but it sure as heck sounds like a good title for a song.

The Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess has been very supportive of me wearing kilts, if she didn't think I looked good in them I don't know if I would have the same confidence in wearing them. Because she does, I can handle any snigger or strange look. The opinion of my beautiful red haired lady is worth endlessly more.

Bruce Springsteen wrote & recorded a musical tribute to his red haired wife, Patti Scialfa, called "Red Headed Woman" that kicks off his "In Concert: MTV Plugged" album. It ends with the lines -
"Well I don't know how many girls you've dated, man
But you ain't lived 'til you've had your tires rotated
By a red headed woman"

Not many red heads that I've seen down here...then again...I've not been on the lookout for a good many years..
I will agree, though, a red-head is best not messed with!

In the supermarket, there's a redhead lass from Aberdeen at the checkout.
She's always delighted to see me and we often chat a bit about "things Scottish" ...really nice!
Yesterday the line at her checkout "forced" me to pick another...she noticed me and wasn't pleased (lightning bolts from her eyes )...all I could do was to look as guilty as possible...to safe my ****
She yelled at me: "next time I'll not forgive you!"
Better not mess with a redhead....
