It looks fine to me. I would not have noticed any problems with the kilt from these pictures. I do like the sandals. I have a similar pair that I wear when it is warm, but I usually do not wear socks with them. It looks nice, so I will keep it in mind.

    Rex,

Good looking outfit. I'm not much of a sandal person but those really work with your kilt. "Modern Gillies" indeed. My Hunting Mcleod Stillwater standard is the kilt I wear most because (1) I'm married to a Mcleod, and (2) it's a handsome green tartan. By the by, nice setting.

    Cheers

Sandals and casual kilts were made to go together. Great finds on the kilts.

A little late on the posting...

I love the kilt and your outfit looks sharp. Those shoes/sandals are good looking.

    Cheers

Yes, of course: They are Skechers. But I have been looking for a replacement pair for several years without success. The closest thing I see in their current collection is this:

This model appears to have an open heel - sling-back in some circles - whereas mine is built more like a monk shoe with a closed heel and buckle rather than VelcroŽ closure.

    Regards,
    Rex in Cincinnati.
