Thats close but not what we are looking for. You could probably remove the weird tab from the loop. But, I would rather find the ones used by most kilt belt makers. Less hassle.
That one is made for the buckle end... We need the one for the other end. It has the bent area to prevent the buckle tab from sliding up and down the D-ring.

Might even try and call these companies and ask if they carry them. Sometimes they don't put everything on their web site.

I found these: 2" to 1" Nickel Metal Slide

They are very similar to what we are looking for. Except that the ones we want t do not have the middle bar. These may work for what I want but I need to measure to be sure.

I made my own from a piece of 1/8" brass rod from Home Depot.

I stopped by the leather shop and showed him the one I found online. It appears that we really need the kilt belt style. I have a hard time believeing that there are no sources for this. Someone has to have access to them.
:-) I just have to figure out that they are called so I can google. Any continued help would be appreciated.
