Welcome from the Windy City! And as others have indicated, we are not rabid about kilt wearing (well, actually we are, but we leave it up to the individual), and you need determine for yourself what is appropriate, and when. Hope the demonstraton went well. Let us know how the broadcast goes.

I agree with you about SCD being a healthy thing to do. My wife and I have been involved for 2 years, there are only two or three men involved with our local group and I'm the only one who wears a kilt all the time.
When we get together for gatherings most men wear kilts.

I wore shorts the other day myself for the first time in months, I was working on a plank right in front of the entrance to the busiest take away shop in town.
