After correspondance with Rocky, I will be getting PV for recovering my car seats in my roadster. Now, to decide which and how much . . .

From what I uderstand and have seen, PV looks/feels much more like a mid-weight wool. Poly cotton is much thinner and is closer to a cross between flannel and light weight wool.

    I'd much prefer PV.

Also, be warned: Only a few use PV. Rocky is one and (I think) Bear is another. I will not speak for others.

    OKAY! I'm In!

Can't pass up a deal like this. Just ordered two casuals from Rocky, Gordon Red and Cladish.

    I like the color variety.

no... they're not made in PV. The only "Irish" one we have in PV is the Ireland's National tartan.

    Wishing for more Irish also

I'm going to take advantage of this offer. I only need to figure our how many and which tartan. I also wish there were more Irish Tartans. If anyone ever finds a medium weight O'Neill for a good price please let me know (PM). I've seen one, but it was not what I would call an O'Neill (something was off) and the price was way off. Regards, O'Neille

Two of my lines go back to Ireland...certainly they branch out from there, but I don't have that info yet....so that's one reason I went with the "generic" Irish tartan, Ireland's National...covers them all, even before I know who they are...

And the Ireland's National is a great tartan!

Now I am looking at Buccleuch, Cladish, and Stewart (M/Navy)! Need to expand my wardrobe colors!
