    Nice aerial photos. I've made the drive to Campbeltown many times, but never flew. Hope you drank some Springbank while you were there. :mrgreen:

    Going off topic for kilts here, but for the benefit of O'Neille and TattooBradley here are closer views of the nearest of the two warbird trainers from the line up in photo 2

    This World War 2 Spitfire was later sold to the Israeli Air Force. After retirement it was repatriated to Britain and converted to Spitfire T9 specification - a two seat trainer - for training display pilots on the type.

    The smaller De Havilland Canada Chipmunk trainer is also used for displays, but for around £150, you can arrange to have a warbird flying experience on her from Prestwick Airport.
    And look at the magnificent landscape in the background.
    All the more reason for you guys to come over to Scotland for a holiday!
