I have to say that I am glad to hear you all like his work. It was a lot of the insperation for me making my kilts. Just use everything from his site and dig into making one for your self. It really is worth it in the end. I have now made four kilts, two that are two tone like the PKs and they really aren't that hard to do.

The Elephant kilt is going to be my first project starting this week.
Definitely in true two-tone PK style.
Sunflash has a real artists ability to make something original whilst retaining elements of traditional design, plus they are combined with elegance.
I think I am jelous. (ie - must use that idea)
I did think that slightly shaping the heavier material would be good, keeping the 'outer' fold line straight, but extending the lower edge of the strip maybe up to one inch so it makes the lower part of the kilt look heavier.
