If it is the kilt on the title page it looks rather good.
I was a little doubtfull about using all cotton at first - but having done a couple I now have a sack full of cotton strips waiting to be pleated up - next to the sack full of wool mixtures likewise waiting my attention.
The kilts I have managed to complete have been life savers in the present heatwave, being cool and absorbant and no problem throwing them into the washer each evening.
However - they also seem to do surprisingly well in the cool of the night, and the occasional thunderstorm, as the cotton stiffens when wet and creates a 'lampshade' effect far more comfortable than rain soaked trousers.
May you (eventually) wear yours in good health.
