Hey!! I might could dance there,,,not enough room to fall down!!



We are looking at as many is 60+ right now. Two pipers and enough assorted musicians to maybe have a little Ceilidh band,,,,well,,,maybe..if any of them know the same tunes! If Jules the Fiddler can come she has fiddled for the dancers before,,,so that would be cool!!

Hummm,,,OK revised count,,,it's looking like we will have somthing over a hurndred at the Scottish Invasion...possibly as high as 130.........GADS!! The place seats about 200,,,we should be "noticable"...;-)))

Revise that revision...closer to 150.....The owner just decided to close Saturday night and let us have the run of the place....not so good for "public exsposure" but great for community building... Mark, looks like there will be room to dance,,now all you dancers have to do is get folks off their bums!

My best guess right now is there will be upwards of 150 actually show up...more maybe,,, more than 170....hard to tell

On the dancing scene,,,Eliz from Austin has been trying to pull the pieces togather,,we know that there will be at least one teacher,,maybe three and definatly at least three exsperenced couples.... now as to the guestion of whither there will be "room at the dance for you all".....we will just shift some tables if we have to,,,,,,,so Knock Your Self Out.....mean time I am off to see if I can keep the musicians from running amock!! Sounds like they have rounded up most of a major band!!! :confused:
